So, you’re not an artist? You can’t draw a straight line with a ruler? It’s your Great Aunt Beatrice who has all the talent in the family?

Well, search no more.

Thunderbunny Designs offers photo-realism to graphic design, whether you want to frame it, drive it, or publish your book with a compelling cover. I can take your concept and produce the results you dream of having.

So what are you waiting for?  It’s time you made the leap to turn that great idea of yours into something beautiful.

I’m primarily a self-taught artist, although I was fortunate to have a handful of teachers along the way who recognized my ability and helped me improve (I won’t mention my second grade teacher, for whom I am certain Harry Chapin wrote the song “Flowers are Red.”).

In first grade, my teacher sat watching me draw a picture of my family. While the other kids were drawing stick figures with smiling faces, I was drawing full figures with hands and fingernails.

“Where did you learn to draw like that?” She smiled.

“Like what?”  I wasn’t quite sure what she meant.

“These hands have fingernails.”  She replied, pointing to my drawing.

I thought to myself, “Of course, silly lady.  Everyone has fingernails.”

She must have spoken to my parents because shortly after, I found myself in weekend classes at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City. I treasured those times and the ride into the city with mom or dad, sometimes receiving an extra treat at a local coffee shop on the way. That was in 1966.

I had occasion in 2008 to revisit the museum for the first time since childhood. As I stepped into the original, marbled main entrance, my heart skipped a beat and my eyes filled with tears. It was there I had learned the world could be a remarkably beautiful place.

Over the years, I have been similarly influenced by other excellent teachers. Fourth grade, sixth grade, high school. In 2011, I was privileged to study with Dru Blair, world renowned airbrush artist and a master of photorealism. His influence not only helped change the way I see the world, but literally liberated my work.

So, that thing you want created? Let me create it.  Call today.
